This week’s CMYLK pairs palettes with three paintings by California-born artist , whose work is represented by in New York City’s Soho neighborhood. Ratcliffe’s acrylic splashes of color are actually abstracted, or broken, topographies that begin as pencil drawings. She describes her paintings, which exhibit bold splashes and splatters as “saturated with color areas organized into disparate energetic structures.”
